Stupid Things That Followers Will Believe From Their Leaders!!

Today I am posting some quotes from Religious and Political leaders and the sad part in all of this, there are people who listen, live by, quote, follow and believe this crap. For the more sane minded of us, please enjoy and find the entertainment value of the statements below.

Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi told worshippers in Tehran last Friday that they had to stick to strict codes of modesty to protect themselves. "Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes," he said.

Rev. Pat Robertson blamed America's sins for the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina, and followed up with earthquake on the Haitians' was because of a "pact with the devil."

Conservative icon Limbaugh said to his worshippers that the surprising strength and timing of the eruption suggests that God was displeased with the passage of health care reform after an Icelandic volcano continued to spew ash into the sky Saturday, halting President Obama’s planned flight to Poland.

Sarah Palin on an ABC News interview July 7, 2009, referred to a department that does not even exist while attempting to explain why as president she wouldn't be subjected to the same ethics investigations that compelled her to resign as governor of Alaska, "I think on a national level your “DEPARTMENT OF LAW” there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out." For that matter as far as Stupid goes, anything that comes out of Sarah Palin’s mouth when she has it open.

  1. A couple of interesting pieces from the heart of Republican progressivism.

  2. Engineer- ah yes, quotes from the double-digit IQ folks to their counterparts. By the way, did you see the financial accounting of the Alaskan Princess? It's all about her, period. I don't have the data but it is amazingly narcissistic [as if we wouldn't know].

  4. Hello Anonymous,
Thank you for the link. Where I am an active Republican, I do find those who have been mislead into thinking that Unions representing the working class...are bad. My father’s family in West Virginia were Republicans because of Lincoln and the Civil War but were also Union Coal Miners.

During WWI there was a coal mine called Monongahela Mine in the area of Fairmont, WVA. Well before there was a union, they had a lot of deaths from cave-ins and explosions. The facts were at this time that you had a better chance of living through the Trench Warfare in France than to work in that mine.

Well of course blowhard Rush Limbaugh took this recent Massey coal mine opportunity and accused the Miners Union; of failing to protect Miners and consequently that is why there is a death toll of 29. This kind of statements need accountability and illuminates the game at hand. Conservatives are using concerned Christians and Tea Baggers as pawns in a game; a deadly game. Lawyer Glen Thompson, legal representative for Massey Energy, has been consistently fighting issued summons for violations on the Mine. Corporate lawyers did their best to deter accountability by government regulatory statues, in maintaining their stance of non-compliance, by delaying due process. The consolidation attempted by the Miners was consistently defeated by threats from Massey Management; if the vote passed for a Union. The mass marketing against unions has worked and the public in gerneral are not behind the workers any longer.

To conclude, There Was No Union To Protect The Miners. There my friends is the problem.

  7. For some, it can be embarrassing to receive a sizegenetics from any man on a traditional setting because they cannot avoid their physical reaction to another man's touch, especially that of an attractive sizegenetics. However, the moment you order a gay sizegenetics, your reaction seriously is not embarrassing; in fact, it is really expected. You could enjoy the sizegenetics to its fullest and perhaps bask a little bit for your own physical arousal. Then, in the event the sizegenetics is done, you could move on with your sizegenetics or you'll send him home; the option is yours.
