Boycott Rush Limbaugh’s Sponsors

It was the loss of sponsors is what forced Fox Programming to Fire Glenn Beck. His over the top Conservative Extremeism was just too much for Sponsors to take a chance of having their products Brand Labeled to this Nut Job.

Well I am proposing that by boycotting those who sponsor Rush Limbaugh could be just as effective. Please take note and not purchase any of the sponsor’s products and services.

  11. More important than not shopping there is writing and calling to tell them why you're not. Don't bother telling the local store personnel. They probably won't even tell their manager, much less anyone at corporate headquarters.

  12. I am going down the list and emailing every single company to inform them of my boycotting their services. In doing so, I see the email address listed for eharmony is not valid: "Remote host said: 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected media@eharmony.com"

  13. I don't use one of those things anyway, nor will I listen to rush... I heard 1 program and the entire thing was rush whining cuz he went to a party and everyone there were people he'd disrespected on the radio and surprise, they snubbed him.. he was whining about how they couldn't take the pressure but it was obvious he felt all hurt and that was when I knew there was something really wrong in his head and heart

  14. The only sponsor I've used is Oreck, and I will email them right now to tell them that I will not purchase another product from them as long as they continue sponsorship of this toxic windbag.

  15. It would also be a good tactic to generate calls to the local radio stations that carry Rush...let them know that you are not only turning off Rush's show, but will not listen to ANY of their programming...ditto to your friends, coworkers, family and social networks. - Eve

  16. Another error I have found while contacting every company listed above. I received a very prompt response from Blue Emu stating they DO NOT advertise on his show and have not done so for 10 years.

    "Dear Ms. Sebring,

Reference your email below - Although the internet is a good source of information, it can also contain much misinformation and have a tendency to propagate falsehoods.

Ten (10) years ago when a new product of ours (Blue-Emu) was launched, we purchased advertising on the radio. The commercials ran on a variety of radio stations and during various times of the day. It is true that some of the time slots were during the Rush Limbaugh show. That was almost 10 years ago and we haven't advertised since then during the times of his radio show. Our most recent marketing campaigns are reaching Americans with Professional Bull Riders, Inc. events and on NBC Sports and CBS Sports Network TV during the PBR events.

The website or location you are getting your information from apparently isn't providing up to date, nor accurate information.

We respectfully request that you contact them with our response and ask them to remove Blue-Emu from their list of Rush Limbaugh advertisers. Especially during these difficult economic times, it is truly unreasonable for persons to boycott an American company with a terrific product for a one-time advertising campaign from ten years ago.

Thank you for contacting us to get our response and for correcting this erroneous information.

  21. If you want people to take you seriously, I suggest hiring an editor. Your grammar is really quite bad. It makes you seem less credible than you may be. I would also suggest that you refrain from calling for a boycott until you are sure that all of the companies listed are actually deserving of one.

    1. You can also call him while he's on the air -- 1-800-282-2882 -- or contact Mediaspan Network, which owns WABC 77 Radio in New York City and whose website I got that number from. The list of Mediaspan's clients is impressively boycotable.

  36. I just received this email in response to me contacting one of the sponsors:

    Hello,

Over the past two days we have received a tremendous amount of feedback on Rush Limbaugh’s recent comments. I too am offended and very concerned about his comments. Limbaugh’s remarks have us rethinking our future use of talk radio.

We use more than 40 talk show hosts to help get the Carbonite message out to the public. The nature of talk radio is that from time to time listeners are offended by a host and ask that we pull our advertising. This goes for conservatives like Limbaugh and progressives like Stephanie Miller and Ed Shultz. We even get customers who demand that we pull the plug on NPR. As an advertiser, we do not have control over a show’s editorial content or what they say on air. Carbonite does not endorse the opinions of the shows or their hosts.

However, the outcry over Limbaugh is the worst we’ve ever seen. I have scheduled a face-to-face meeting next week with Limbaugh during which I will impress upon him that his comments were offensive to many of our customers and employees alike.

Please know your voice has been heard and that we are taking this matter very seriously.

    Regards,
    Dave

  37. the whole point of his comments were, WE as a people should not pay for contraceptives. He did not call her a slut he insinuated she was a prostitute.

  38. Really, come out of your bubble.

  39. WE as a people are paying for covered services - including the proposed contraceptive coverage - with our insurance premiums.

(Anybody who's serious about wanting to decrease the incidence of abortion should also be serious about wanting contraceptives to be safe, convenient, and affordable to access.)

Insinuating that a woman is a prostitute *is* calling her a slut.

  43. We don't even listen to Rush. But, when he goes out of his way to throw hate to all women who don't believe exactly the way he does; which is what he did when he called an innocent law student names only recognizable by his own client base, it's time to cut him off in any and every way possible. And, people who condone his words and behavior have no respect whatsoever for women. Thank you for posting this list.

    ReplyDelete
  44. This was way over the top. Not acceptable on any level and the apology...not real. Are we really supposed to believe he is so stupid he thought that was humourous??? There are several sponsors of his program I have done business with in the past. That is it ...in the past. I do have the freedom to spend my money and support those I believe in and theses sponsors dropped from my list. The lack of respect for all women is apalling. Thank you for this forum.

comedian Louis CK "joked" on the Opie and Anthony radio show about Palin coming to the Republican convention "holding a baby that just came out of her f***ing, disgusting c***, her f***ing retard-making c***. I hate her more than anybody," he said.

On Twitter, this "comedian" attacked Palin in 2011 as a f****ing j**k off c***-face jazzy wondergirl" who "has a family of Chinese poor people living in her c***."

Guess which event this same fellow is headlining in June? -- The Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner.

"We're very excited about having Louis C.K. at the dinner," said Jay McMichael of CNN, who chairs the Radio and Television Correspondents Association's executive committee. "This is an evening you'll want to experience. We're shaking things up, showcasing the unexpected, and delivering lots of laughs.

  50. 1 Problem: HP Printer not connecting to my laptop.
I had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me.
I then decided to get professional help to solve my problem. After having received many quotations from various companies, i decided to go ahead with Online Tech Repair (www.onlinetechrepairs.com).
Reasons I chose them over the others:
    1) They were extremely friendly and patient with me during my initial discussions and responded promptly to my request.
    2) Their prices were extremely reasonable.
    3) They were ready and willing to walk me through the entire process step by step and were on call with me till i got it fixed.
    How did they do it
    1) They first asked me to state my problem clearly and asked me a few questions. This was done to detect any physical connectivity issues with the printer.
    2) After having answered this, they confirmed that the printer and the laptop were functioning correctly.
    3) They then, asked me if they could access my laptop remotely to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. I agreed.
    4) One of the tech support executives accessed my laptop and started troubleshooting.
    5) I sat back and watched as the tech support executive was navigating my laptop to spot the issue. The issue was fixed.
    6) I was told that it was due to an older version of the driver that had been installed.

    My Experience
I loved the entire friendly conversation that took place with them. They understood my needs clearly and acted upon the solution immediately. Being a technical noob, i sometimes find it difficult to communicate with tech support teams. It was a very different experience with the guys at Online Tech Repairs. You can check out their website www.onlinetechrepairs.com or call them on 1-914-613-3786.
Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs help fixing their computers.
Thanks a ton guys. Great Job....!!
