Well here we go again with another Christian professing group demaning Governers of 30 States who do not agree with their viewpoints, to resign in 3 days!!
At least 30 Governors across the country have received letters from a quasi-religious, anti-government group ordering them to step down from office in three days, in what the group's website said was the first step to disband parts of the U.S. government.
This quasi-religious, anti-government group calls themselves, “The Guardians of the Free Republics” describes its attempt to “Restore the true Republic,” what ever in the hell that is supposed to mean.
Many states whose Governors received the letters, are now having to spend more of our tax dollars to beef up security. The attitude is that it is appropriate to err on the side of caution to protect these Governors. Federal law enforcement officials would not comment on any ongoing investigations.
The Guardians of the Free Republics appears to work in the anti-government and anti-tax movement, much like the Teabaggers. The group's philosophy, rifee with its interpretation of arcane federal law, and mingles with the anti-Federal Reserve mantra espoused by followers of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas as well as with anti-tax advocates.
The letters arrived as law enforcement officials appear to be closely monitoring anti-government extremists like the Christian militia that was arrested this past week in Michigan and other states. Prosecutors have described the Hutaree militia as a violent anti-government organization planning to kill police officers.
”The Guardians of the Free Republics” group believes that an act of Congress passed in the late 1800s in effect transformed the United States into a corporation, Hall said. Since then, the American people have been serving corporate masters.
All Right Wing Religious Conservative Zealots should be proud today once again.
More than 30 governors, including Robert F. McDonnell (R) of Virginia, received letters from an anti-government group this week

Hello Vetea,
ReplyDeleteThis is truly a sad state of affairs. My questions is, based on what Nihilistic viewpoints do these Guardians of the Free Republic feel they can mandate these Governors resign?
A grand narcissistic attitude?
Engineer- your post beat mine! You are one step ahead.
ReplyDeleteThe Des Moines Register said that the Guardians of the free Republics is described as a sovereign citizens group.
Want to play around with the word, 'sovereign?'
"quasi-religious"?? WTF does that mean? Does that mean they semi-believe in the supernatural? They they only partially believe they are doing Gawd's work?
ReplyDeleteThese aren't Jews, Hindus, Muslims or Wiccans who are seeking to singlehandedly dictate how this country should be goverened. These are Jesus worshipping Christian whack jobs, who represent just another flavor of theist ignorance believing Jesus was an American and a right-wing radical Republican.
Religion is a fucking curse on this planet.
Hello Hump,
ReplyDeleteAlways good to hear from you my friend. Happy First Sunday after the occurrence of the Full Moon’s arrival after the vernal equinox (or spring equinox)!!
Like what Jesus said, “I come not to bring peace but a sword!”
Just within the last few days we have had the Christian proclaiming Teabaggers spitting and shouting the “N” word at black Congressmen on the Capital steps, throwing bricks through Congressmen’s office windows with hate messages written on them, destroying private property; then came the Extreme Right Wing Christian Religious group calling themselves, “The Hutatree Militia,” who planned to dial 911, shoot responding police officers, then attack and blow up everyone at the funerals; and now we have another Christian professing group calling themselves, “Guardians of the Free Republics,” who now have the FBI investigating and the increase cost of our tax dollars to step up the security of 30 Governors who this latest group sent letters to demanding for Governors to resign in three days.
Then on this Sunday all of these good faith people will sing in church, “They will know we are Christians by our Love?”
